About Us

NCUI Cooperative Education Field Project, Kalburgi, Karnataka

Our NGO plays a vital role in empowering marginalized communities through training, awareness, and financial support, promoting leadership, education, self-reliance, & inclusive economic development.

NCUI was established in 1994 at the Co-operative Training Centre in Kalburgi. Since then, we have been conducting a minimum of two programs every month, including leadership development training, HIV adult education, environmental awareness, and awareness programs on loans, advances, deposit mobilization, and recovery. We also facilitate the formation of women’s and men’s co-operative societies and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for economically weaker sections, including SC/ST communities and minorities. These initiatives were actively implemented from 1994 to 2020, benefiting a total of 16,500 individuals. Additionally, loans amounting to ₹42 lakhs were distributed to 508 SHGs, with and without interest, to support income generation and self-reliance.

District level seminar

On 30-03-2022, we conducted a District level seminar from cef fund, the program was inaugurated by Managing Director, D CC Bank, DRCS, ARCS, Cooperative leaders, Ramchandra .S.G.project officer, NCUI project Gulbarga.

International Women's Day Celebration

On behalf of International Women's Day, we organized an awareness program on the cooperative business model and rangoli, musical chair competition. And later distributed prizes to winners. Around 145 participants have attended the event.

NCUI Project Janashakthi was organised for women for stiching of masks for public during this time of covid 19 for protectionm agianst the virus under the Project officer Mr. Ramachandra at Shahpur Gulbarga district.
